How to "extract sound out of the Vob's??

It might be worth trying BeSweet, that might be able extract the audio substream - noticed it uses vStrip so I don't know the chances of it working. Failing that someone cleverer than me will have to help. :)

just for a chance try the demuxer in ImgTool_089. BeSweet might also be an alternative now that VOB processing is back in it. It's not using vStrip by the way, it uses a VOBInput.dll by DVD2SVCD and mpglib.dll when you do VOB input. Might be worth a shot.
