Problems with video sync

Sounds like interlacing artifacts. Did you deinterlace (either inside the codec, or with Avisynth or through GKnot) before you encoded that? If not, then you might want to check out for the how to's and the why's. Also, could you please attach a picture showing your problem, so we can determine if it is indeed interlacing?

The fact that it doesn't show in VirtualDub proves that it is a decoding error. And you are right, what you're describing doesn't sound like interlacing after all. Does it happen only once in the video, or multiple times? If more than once, does it happen over a specific interval or random? Have you tried playing the video with players other than BSPlayer? If not could you please see if the same thing happens with other players?

sounds to me like an illegal resolution, which resolution did you used?

BTW, BSPlayer and ffdshow don't like each other very much ;) And Acaila, BSPlayer is the best player around, don't you pick on my favourite player :p :D

@ curna Do you have the latest build? (494) If yes, then may I have a test clip please... (never encountered such problems, and I always used BSPlayer...)
