Davec test Question

how can I obtain the davec test, so that I can test out my sytem. I've heard alot about it through out the threads?

Alright enough being mean to the guy . DaveC isnt a program you run to test out your system, its a manual test that really doesn't prove much. You make a track, put 5 stock plug-ins on it(Short Delay, Medium Delay, Long Delay, I forget the other two),The you duplicate it (alt+shift+d) until your system maxes out(Goes into red on system usage window). If you get the full 32 tracks without going into the red start adding aux tracks. For more info on it, search the duc for ''DaveC Test'' it'll give you alot of info on it.

Okay, being serious now... Davec: Stock PT plugins- Compressor, 4 Band EQ, slap delay , Medium Delay, and Long Delay Create a new session and add these 5 plugins to a couple tracks. Record for 1 minute. Repeat adding tracks and recording until you can't anymore or you reach 32, assuming you have latest version of PT. Then start adding AUX Tracks with the same 5 plugins and recording for 1 minute until it won't go anymore. That's the DaveC Test.
