can't get my license key?

I recently lost all my data in a hard drive crash, including my Reaper license key. I have emailed support several times and waited a week now with no reply. Does anyone know how else I might get in contact with Cockos or request my key again?

should be in your mail. if not, it's not a big problem to use it for a while without is it?

Just email support at cockos dot com and send them what information you have about the original purchase...they should be able to hook you up. Scott

Like I said in the original post, I lost my license due to a hard drive crash. And I have emailed support a couple of times. Sure, it is not the end of the world, but having paid my 50 bucks I gotta say I am pretty disappointed with the level of support shown (ie none at all). It's not like it'd be complicated for them to send me a copy is it...

What i meant was: Originally they emailed the key to you. Right? At least that is what happened in my case. So most email systems provide on line access, so there is a great possibility you still have this email, so you can copy/paste your key into your freshly installed copy of Reaper. If not, or if you have deleted that email than, I guess you should wait ... till it is over :)

Hello magpie, Sorry to hear about your troubles! I suffered a hard drive failure myself and lost five years of songwriting and recordings - and I had no backups... But rest assured that your license is not lost- the developers are usually very fast to respond. Best regards, D.
