RV9 encoding speed ?

Yep, RV9 is slow but it's not as slow as WME9 or WMV9. So stop your moaning! Ha Ha!

Just completed some encoding speed tests, using my std 137min test file as a source. Here are the results: DivX5: 1st Pass: 02h 41m 18s / 2nd Pass: 02h 26m 03s RMV9: 1st Pass: 03h 45m 30s / 2nd Pass: 04h 15m 17s WME9: 1st Pass: 05h ??m ??s / 2nd Pass: 12h 13m 04s WMV9: 1st Pass: 05h 14m 06s / 2nd Pass: 23h 45m 13s What was that about RMV9 being sssslllloooowwww!

If you're looking to sling mud, count me out. You're data only supports my statement, though. RV9 is by no means a slow encoder, like WME/WMV, but its not the fastest either it takes aprox 2.5 hours longer than Divx. I was compairing to Xvid too, not Divx.
