Reaper won't play anything (SOLVED)

Used the program everything was fine, closed everything down then re-opened only to find out it wont play any files. I hit play and it says its playing but it wont do anything. I was fine when I shut it down, now it loads file but wont play anything or any file. Please can I get some help? Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello lzsavoy and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. If the Play cursor is not moving, then probably some other program has exclusive access to the auiod interface. What does it say in the top-right corner of Reaper. Have you got any other audio program running?

No other audio devices running. In upper right corner it says: 44.1khz 24bit WAV 2/2ch 256 spls~11/5.8ms ASIO
