Much love of side chaining!

Last night this n00b found himself saying "the vocals ain't loud enough" then "now they're too loud" etc. I thought I'd try side chaining for the first time, to make the instruments duck under the vox. Reaper of course made it painless. I am now a fan of side chaining. Thanks, Reaper!

Howd you do it. Im a boob too. I've been wanting to do sidechaining to but I don't understand how. I know what it does but the how gets me.

You can also sidechain any parameter of an effect, go trm-mod then choose a parameter of an effect, set it to 3-4

I've used it more for modulation of fx...to control filter cutoff, wet/dry mix, delay time/feedback, etc. The possibility are endless.

I took it like sometimes we look past the obvious things in life when they're right there in front of us. Like we strive for things that may never be (reaching the moon) but the answer right there in our everyday lives (the flowers that blossom at their feet). Anyway i'm gonna give this sidechaining a try. I never tried it cause it sounded complicated.
