Midi editor problems

Hi, midi in Reaper is becoming cool but fews things make my workflow slow down when I'm in the midi editor: _1: the keys of my keyboard are not recognized when i press a key, I hear it but doesn' t see it on the piano roll _2: the C0 note is C2 so it's a little bit confusing _3: to change multi note velocity i must make it inside the notes, so I must Zoom max in a note to make it precise, it would be great to make it on the velocity Windows _4: the markers aren' t active so when I want to work on specifics notes, I always have to remoove the begining of the selection Can somebody help me please? (sorry for my bad english!)

1. No, it's not echoed on the piano roll keyboard (it would be good if it were) 2. In Options >> Preferences >> Media >> MIDI set the Display Offset (mine is -1 here) 3. you can drag the Velocity bars up and down (but not see the velocity value, that would be good too) or select the notes, right-click, select Note properties and type in the velocity value 4. I'm not sure whaqt you mean here. HTH

Thanks for 1 and 2! 3_When you have a selection of notes and want change all velocities(proportionally) you have to change velocities inside one of the notes and you can't on the velocity bar( a la cubendo or live): it change only the velocity for the note you are pointing? So you have to zoom in order to be more precise and dezoom to return to your sequence And what is the use to see velocity inside the note in midi editor( the graph would be enough and more precise to change the velocity of every note at the same time (Ouch, it was difficult to explain with my poor english!) 4_The markers are not active in midi editor?

I don't know if it's been mentioned but you can right click on any Note Name area in the Piano Roll and all the notes on that line will become active to edit and show their Velocity bars ate the bottom.Worth mentioning as well Double right clicking in the Name are allows the editing of the note names if the user doesn't know this. HTH :)
