Le 001 XP

Hello folks long time no see. Just finished my summer off and am back to work at the high school ranch. We just upgraded to XP home and I installed the new 001 xp upgrade on our machine but the digi wave driver will not install and the dialoge box says that the driver file is possibly corrupt or uncomplete. Any thoughts on this . Should I uninstal the 001 card remove it , reboot, click my heels three times and say there's no place like home ? Help.. Thank you Tom.

firts install protools. After that install the wave-driver. The wavedriver needs protools to be installed...then stand on your head and click your heels 3 times.

thanks but I already did that and when I start up PT it stalls half way and states that windows has not installed a driver for the digi 001. As I understand it PT must be running to install the wavedriver. Well I can't get it to boot. I have uninstalled the pace files digi 001 and PTLE and shut down and pulled the card, then restarted and shut down again, and then replaced the 001 card ... rebooted and left the add hardware box open while I reinstalled PTLE and ended up with the same result.

Did you upgrade to winxp or did you do a clean install? Its reccomended to do a clean install. That doenst mean you cant have a dual-boot system. Thats what i have, and it works great!
